If you are looking to save space in your standard wrench drawer with a full set of wrenches you can easily identify what you are grabbing from a distance, you've come to the right place.  A full wrench set (6mm-32mm) in the shallow drawer takes up just over 20" of space with this kit.  In my own Matco 6s shallow wrench drawer, not only do I have this 6-32mm full kit, but another 8-19mm set of wrenches in front of it in one line of the single length of the drawer with my system.  Nothing else on the market comes close. 

This is the wrench organizer system that you wish someone made.  This is the wrench organizer system that makes you stop "trying the next wrench organizer system" and you are finally happy something holds your wrenches right and does everything you want.  That's why it exists.  It's something I've had in my head for almost 2 decades.  I've spent countless $$$ spent over the years trying the "next best thing" as a tech and they all failed miserably IMO.    This is the product that ends all that. This is over 2 years of design and testing.  This is the product that you will transfer over to your new box and your box over and over again.  You'll never want another wrench organizer again, period. 

This kit is designed to hold a modern slim style wrench set that the overwhelmingly large majority of wrench sets manufactured today will be.  This is NOT designed for thick wrench designs such as the original craftsman sets with wide raised grips.  We have options to build a very tight fitting wrench kit with craftsman "thick" wrenches, but this listing is not for that. 

This is the ultimate kit for storing your full, large set of wrenches firmly and secure.  When I set out to design the ultimate wrench storage solution, I did so with intention of having absolutely ZERO compromise.  I wanted to save as much space as humanly possible, I wanted to use as much material as possible for the best hold / strength, and wanted to be able know every wrench I'm grabbing from a far with huge labeling.  

This kit takes well over 30 hours to manufacture.  This is manufactured in ABS, a household name in the the automotive world and homes for decades.  I designed this to last a life time.  

Standard Direction Definitions: As wrenches are stacked from front to back, as they go back, the size gets bigger and the wrench gets larger.

How This Works:

• The end caps exist for several reasons.
  • They main body end cap is designed to be able to push into the edge of your wrench drawer.  Because almost every single tool box manufacturer has rolled over steel on the end of the drawer, that means the top of the drawer sticks out slightly compared to the space at the bottom of the drawer.
  • The end cap pushes against the edge of your tool box drawer and spaces it out just enough to where the first wrench in your organizer clears that bent steel overhang and your wrench clears without worries.
  • It also exists to protect the start of your organizer as this wrench organizer is designed to use the tapered dovetail lock joint in front to hold the next organizer.   The end cap also acts as the next organizer in front protecting that dovetail locking joint. 
  • The extension end cap is entirely for protection of the that dovetail joint and gives you a full height organizer to help align the wrench behind it.  
• The 6-19mm Slimline Organizer block exists to save costs to the customer and to save space.  The 14 slot block is only about the length of your hand, holding wrenches tightly and neatly saving as much tool box real estate as possible.
• Next is the individual piece meal wrench builders.  5 of them covers size 20mm through 24mm along with 5 matching extensions that hold the other end of your larger wrenches at this point.
• Next is the Starter Laydown and Starter Laydown Extension. Every single laydown kit must use the starter and starter extension 1st.  It has 3 main jobs within your organizer:
  • The start of laying down your wrenches
    
  • Serving as a wrench guard so opening your drawer and stopping it too quickly doesn't stand the 1st wrench laid down straight up.  
  • And finally, keeping your first laid down wrench out of making contact with the vertical wrench directly in front of it.  
• The Standard Laydown and Laydown Extension is a 2nd angle of laydown in the kit which is conservatively used twice before moving on to the Far Laydown and Far Laydown Extension
• Finally, the Far Laydown and Laydown Extension is repeated 5 times to end the set at 32mm
• ZIGZAGS 
  • Available as ZIGZAG - Right Side Extension (meaning you plan on putting your extensions on the right side of the main body wrench organizer) - My SAE large kit is just that as you can see in the pictures. 
  • Or available as ZIGZAG - Left Side Extension (meaning you plan on putting your extensions on the left side of the main body wrench organizer) - My Metric kit is "Left Side Extension" as you can see in the pictures. 
  • These offset your extensions as your wrenches taper in size so your extensions can hold wrenches throughout your set and have the same male / female tapered dovetail locking joint as the extensions.  

Nameplates:

• ***The best and most visible TEXT COLOR for your name plates is White for contrasting against most color options***
• If your nameplate body is white, then obviously you need a contrasting color for the text (Black for instance).  And in cases of using colors such as Hi Viz (another bright color), making white harder to see, a dark color option for the text makes sense.  I've left you the option to decide for yourself exactly how you want to color the nameplate. 
• White for the text is generally the correct choice 95% of the time to have the greatest vision on what size wrenches you are looking at.  Putting Neon colors together, which are naturally bright and opaque is asking for difficulty in reading the text in the same way putting 2 dark colors together.  
  
• Most shops don't have the best of lighting either which compounds the issue.  

Accent & Wrench Line Coloring:

• Accent and Wrench Line Coloring allow you to personalize your wrench organization to however you see fit. 
• The accent color is added to the top of the organizer spanning around the last 4 mm of height (as seen in the photos).   This allows you to easily identify which group, type, or kind of wrenches you set this up for yourself.  For example, say you want all the wrench bodies to be black.  Adding red and blue accent coloring to the black could easily allow you to distinguish which wrench sets in your tool box are Metric / SAE / Specialty, etc.   
  
• The Wrench Line color, matching the accent color, spans the area where the wrench would be resting on, giving you a visual clue if the wrench is not in the organizer.   It is there for a visual aide being able to scan your tool box for tools that are not put away.

• 100% Modular design that allows you to build on to this wrench organizational block from the front and back however you see fit.  
• Huge amount of space savings in your tool box.  A 14 piece wrench block (6-19mm) is only about as long as your hand.  A complete kit that is designed to fit in a standard shallow drawer (6-32mm) using this space saving wrench block only takes up just over 20" of length.
